Skate covers - boot protection. They have frequent contact with ice. There are cases when the cover has contact with the blade of another skate. It's training, anything can happen. Therefore, they are more prone to damage than any other element of a skater's wardrobe.
We had a lot of experiments and a lot of feedback about the covers. Biflex covers are wiped quite quickly. But some images require certain colors that are only available in this version of the fabric. If this is a costume for performances, then there will be no problems here, nothing bad will happen to them for several performances, so you can safely take covers made of this fabric for the image.
For training, if there is an alternative color, thermal fabric covers are still better. They have proven themselves very well. After all, they withstand a large amount of training. There were cases when it was enough for a year and a half of active classes. But the intensity of training, as well as the exercises performed, are different for everyone. And don't forget that covers are consumables that protect your skates. You shouldn't save on covers, but you shouldn't be upset that they didn't last as long as you wanted.
Remember that every hole or scratch in the cover is a potential hole or scratch in the skate that was saved. Let this preserved skate warm your soul.
